Senior Water Resources Engineer 
Berthoud, CO

Northern Water is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to complete complex water resources analyses and related engineering studies for Northern Water’s existing and ongoing construction of storage and delivery projects. This individual will lead efforts to develop a framework combining new and existing software tools for streamflow forecasting, water user demand projections, water rights, river administration, and reservoir operations to support project planning and operational decisions in the South Platte basin. This position is part of Northern Water’s Water Resources Department that works cross-functionally with other teams and departments throughout the organization to provide water resources planning, analysis, and support. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other staff and with outside partners, consultants, and stakeholders. This position calls for a self-motivated individual with outstanding organizational skills who works equally well autonomously and in a team environment.  In addition, this person will discuss complex issues with the Northern Water Board of Directors, manage consultants, coordinate work of project staff and review the work of Engineer I, II and III.
