Sue Ellen Harrison has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
Harrison has been an attorney for 35 years. She has advised boards, commissions and departments and participated in administrative proceedings with a focus on federal and state environmental issues, including water quality, drinking water, wetlands and public utilities regulation. Harrison has also worked for the City of Boulder Assistant City Attorney, the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Legal Counsel and the State of Colorado Office of the Attorney General.
For nine years, Harrison was a member of the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission and served as chair of the commission for a year.
