The 2,000-long-foot tunnel that will bring water in and out of the reservoir is about 80 percent complete as of the end of February.  

Crews have completed all concrete linings in both the downstream and upstream portions of the tunnel and are making great progress on all contact grouting. The valve inside the valve chamber was recently installed and the electrical, fiber and HVAC work is underway.  

The final piece of infrastructure that needs to be installed is the pipe in the downstream portion of the tunnel. That is expected to be installed this spring and be ready for testing to begin in May.
