Public Outreach

Chimney Hollow Public Outreach

Due to Chimney Hollow Reservoir’s remote location, public outreach and education are key components of the project’s success. We recognize the community interest and excitement in this project and strive to provide the best updates we can. The best way to stay up to date on construction is to watch our most recent video update to the right, which provides the public with the latest information about what's happening on site.

Please also be sure to follow us on Facebook or X, subscribe to our YouTube channel and sign up for our Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project E-Newsletter to stay up to date on progress.

Outreach and Tour Opportunities

We know there is a lot of interest in seeing Chimney Hollow construction. Due to limited staff and resources, tours are made available first for staff and leadership of participant groups. A participant is employees of one of the 12 participants building Chimney Hollow Reservoir. Any available spots remaining on tours will then be made available to the public. To be notified of available tour openings, please sign up for our Chimney Hollow Tour Interest List.

Additionally, you can now see the main dam from County Road 18E and Flatiron Reservoir. From April through September, the Chimney Hollow Project team will be set up at Flatiron Reservoir on the last Tuesday of the month from 9-11 a.m. Please stop by to say hi, see the main dam and ask any questions you have about the project. We look forward to connecting with you in person.
