CAT 777 Haul Truck

This month’s featured piece of equipment is the CAT 777, a 100-ton haul truck. While there are numerous other pieces of heavy equipment on-site, including 50- and 70-ton haul trucks, the two CAT 777s are the ‘big dogs’ currently on-site at the Chimney Hollow Reservoir Project. Each truck required a police escort to the site due to their immense size that filled the area’s roadways during transit.
