Round Two for Feedback on Open Space Management Plan to Open Soon
By the end of the year, the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources plans to have its final Chimney Hollow Open Space Management Plan published to begin planning for implementation and development.
In mid-July, the first round of public feedback on desired nature-based land and water recreation experiences closed. Since then, Larimer County completed internal discussions and began working on the draft plan. Later this month, the draft plan will be shared with the public and the county will ask for one more round of public feedback. The team will use this feedback to finalize the management plan by the end of the year.
Information collected from the community will help guide future management of the new open space at Chimney Hollow while simultaneously protecting and enhancing ecological resources.
