Windsor Preserves Wetland in Eastman Park Project

In partnership with the Northern Integrated Supply Project, the Town of Windsor is developing a new 25-acre park called the Eastman Park River Experience, of which 9 acres of land are dedicated to wetland mitigation along the Poudre River. The new wetland area was dedicated in the fall of 2024.

The new park offers a new playground and expansion of existing trails, but also represents one of many environmental initiatives associated with NISP.

Altogether, there are more than $60 million in environmental measures associated with NISP, mostly taking place along the Poudre River.
