Kevin Lock explains in this 3-minute video how crews from Kiewit have been working in recent months to gather rock and soil assessments at the Glade Reservoir site northwest of Fort Collins. The goal of the work, referred to as the Glade Reservoir Geotechnical Design Assessment (GDA), was to gain site-specific geotechnical and geologic information that will inform design and construction planning for the Glade Reservoir dam and appurtenant facilities. This assessment work at the Glade site began back in June and wrapped up in November.
