About Northern Water
Northern Water is a public agency created in 1937 to contract with the federal government to build the Colorado-Big Thompson Project.
The C-BT Project collects water west of the Continental Divide and delivers it to Northeastern Colorado for agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial uses.
Northern Water and its Municipal Subdistrict are also in the process of permitting and designing two large-scale water storage projects to meet the future water needs of Northeastern Colorado. Learn more about the Windy Gap Firming Project and the Northern Integrated Supply Project.

Water Scheduling Assistant
The Water Scheduling Assistant is responsible for acting as the point of contact for C-BT allottees and project participants taking delivery of water.
Engineering Technician I
The Engineering Technician I position provides technical engineering support in areas such as water quality and water resources throughout Northern Water's boundaries.
O&M Fieldman I
The O&M Fieldman I position is responsible for the operation of facilities for the collection and distribution of water and for operations and maintenance work on all facilities as assigned.
